Magic For Kids brings a 70-minute entertainment experience (45 minutes of interactive magic + 25 minutes of balloon twisting) to homes, party venues, and outdoor spaces across Nassau County and Western Suffolk County.
We're based in New York City and have performed at hundreds of kids' birthday parties — now we're bringing the same high-energy, fully interactive show to Long Island families. We're based in NYC and travel to Long Island for shows. Travel fees may apply depending on location — Nassau County is typically a small additional fee, and Suffolk County varies by distance. We'll give you an exact quote when you reach out, with no surprises.
How far east on Long Island do you travel?
We regularly travel throughout Nassau County and into Western Suffolk County (Huntington, Commack, Smithtown, Babylon area). For towns further east, reach out and we'll let you know — we're often able to make it work.
Can you do a backyard show?
Backyard shows are our specialty on Long Island — it's what most families book. We just need a flat area where kids can sit facing the performer, ideally with some shade. A deck, patio, or lawn all work great. We recommend having an indoor backup plan in case of weather.
Do you perform at country clubs and catering halls?
Yes! We regularly perform at country clubs, catering halls, restaurant party rooms, and event venues across Long Island. We coordinate with venue staff on setup, timing, and space so the show fits seamlessly into your event.
How many kids can the show handle?
The show works great for groups of 5 to 40+ kids. Long Island parties tend to be on the larger side, and our show thrives with bigger crowds — more energy, bigger reactions, and an even better finale. Let us know your estimated headcount when booking.
What ages is the show best for?
Ages 4–12 is the sweet spot. We adjust the pacing, humor, and trick complexity based on your group's age range. Mixed-age parties are no problem — we keep younger kids laughing and older kids genuinely fooled.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend at least 3–4 weeks for Long Island dates since we coordinate travel. Weekend dates during spring and summer fill up quickly — Long Island's prime backyard party season is our busiest time.
